The Aftermath!

So, it has been a couple of days since we took the A.P. English Literature and Composition exam and I'm sure many of you, including myself, are excited to talk about the prompts and the different things we wrote. Due to College Board rules and regulations we may not talk about the prompts until Monday, when Ms. Hill receives them; furthermore, we are expected to never utter a single word about the multiple choice, for it can harm the outcome of your test. Come Monday, we may talk about the prompt; however, until then we can discuss the experience of "The Test". Being the first A.P. test for some of us, was it what you expected? How did you feel going into the testing room and how did you feel leaving? For those who have taken a test before, how did it differ from the previous one(s)?

  1. i fairly enjoyed the Century Quilt. i liked how she srtuctred it with the view of a child. it really tugged my heart strings about the whole family mementos. I did NOT enjoy the second prompt about the "chameleon character". i mean that the guy basically was as complex as arubicks cube.>:O I had so much ennui in that prompt!! However, the free responce was the one that i feel i did okay on. the prompt about alienation and the exiled really made sense to me. Funny story, as I was writing the second responce answer I glanced at the free responce and began formulating the answer for it. I got so excited about it that I actually began writing it while working on the second answer.

  2. My favorite prompt was the free responce. It fit perfectly into the life of the Monster in Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein
