Eliot's poem "Preludes" talks about how the modernization of modern times has consequences. That consequence being how we lose our natural connection to nature and our freedom. Do you feel that you too are slipping away in our modern times?
We as humans are loosing connection with nature because we prefer to be with our electronic devices and inside rather than being outside enjoying nature.
Well technology has it positives and negatives, but it is quite true that as a whole we've lost our connection with nature & we've destroyed it and abused of its resources. I believe its hard not to slip because our daily lives even at school including using technology to do our work.
I truly do believe I am. Everyday I am faced with some sort of electronic device and I have grown accustomed to my phone and my iPad. I feel lost without them because I really do not know the connection between nature and oneself because I was raised in a time of technology development.
Truly along with myself, i believe we all have lost our minds and our identity because we rely on modernization .
