Let's start the reviewing!

Hey guys, as the days go by, we get closer and closer to our AP exam. So, I came up with a fun (kind of) way to review. We should write a "story," but each of us have a max of FOUR sentences in it (we can write as many times as we want but each time a max of three sentences. Like, me then Marleen then me... etc. I hope you guys get it, I don't know if I'm explaining too well). All of us just keep adding and adding to the story until we're completely done with vocab and we can come back to this post to review. That way while we're taking the test we can remember our crazy story. Here are all of the words up until now (11/14/2010).

The sun shone very brightly through the window. As Brody awakened, she looked out the window and felt melancholy as she gazed down at the street She was very confused, and when she turned, she saw a "walker" coming towards her...
You guys can finish it off!(:

  1. I love this idea!(especially since it has to do with "walkers"!)For those of you who might be confused as to what a walker is, its a zombie. Now to continue our vocab practice story:

Brody knew that if she did not think fast this could turn into a very cumbersome situation. Luckily she managed to maneuver herself out of the way just as the walker leaned in for a bite. Subsequently, she grabbed her bag and fled out through the hotel door, leaving the walker behind.

  2. Remember to put the vocab. word in bold font. Also, make sure to use the word in a way that it will be easy to remember its meaning. For example, will you remember that melancholy means thoughtful sadness?

  3. While Brody fled, all she could think of was her friend, Hayley. Then she heard "BRODY!" she turned and saw Hayley on top of a building shouting and waiving a FLAMBOYANT rag. As she looked forward, there was a PROLIFIC amount of walkers circling the building Hayley was on.

  4. (I'm not sure if I'm doing this right... but, bear with me :P)

Brody's eyes widened at the ghastly sight before him. Quickly, he contrived a plan to rescue Hayley from the clutches of the abominable, villainous walkers. Brody shifted into a clandestine-like posture and quietly maneuvered between buildings, swerving clear of the nefarious zombies. Brody took one last quick look at Hayley, whose face lacked temerity, before he faced the demons threatening his best friend.

(I was going to make her his love interest... but, thought better of it, :P)

  5. Brody urged Hayley through the enigmatic streets, looking for some escape or escalated ground. The two did not want to be the ones top feed the implacable, blood-thirsty zombies. Good thing Brody had been obsessed with them ever since she picked up that zombie survival guide making her cognizant of all the areas to avoid that could lampoon any chance they had of surviving. (I am pretty sure Brody and Hayley are both girls… ;P)

  6. When she read the survival guide, Brody would practice ways to swiftly MANEUVER through crowds. After so much practice, she became ACCUSTOMED to the tight airless feeling that she figured out a way to get Hayley and herself out safely. But, when Brody told Hayley her INCREDULOUS attitude towards the plan of escape enraged Brody.

  7. Although Brody wished to be VITUPERATIVE, she held her cool and calmy explained her escape plan to Hayley. They would attemp to walk through the crowd of walkers disgused. Hayley tried everything to EXPOSTULATE Brody from trying to make them sneak through the most over populated walker streets...but there was no other way.

  9. There was a long silence between Brody and Hayley. Finally, Hayley spoke LUGUBRIOUSLY to Brody and tried one last time to change Brody's mind. However, Brody EXPOSTULATED Hayley about the danger of them staying there.

  10. Even though Hayley was INDIGNANT towards the reckless decision, she knew they had no choice but to make a run for it. Brody finished masking their scents with the REPUGNANT smell of the walkers, by putting on clothes from walkers they had taken down. Hayley felt FETTERED to the floor as Brody made her way into the crowd...
