Before we start reading Brave New World in class, I'm curious if anyone has read it before. I read it last block on my own time, and I'm looking forward to seeing what new insights we can find as a class. So, has anyone read Brave New World already?
I have not either this is the first time I shall read it as well and it does sound quite interesting as Dominic stated since we can relate to it because it seems as if it could have been written by an author today instead of in the 1930's
I have not and I have never heard of the book so I am kind of unsure as to what the book is about.
ReplyDeleteIt's similar to 1984, in a way. I think it'll be pretty clear once we start reading.

ReplyDeleteThis is my first time around, but I am really enjoying the dystopian setting of the book.
