Prevelant thought
Though it may be tad irrelevant to what we're currently doing (I felt like I should be wearing a monocle and a top hat when I typed the preceding), there is something that bothers my mind constantly..., how am I going to do on this AP exam? What better place to vent that then on blogger I thought. But never mind me, how do you guys feel you're going to do on the exam as of now? Do you think you'll be ready?

Honestly as of now I think I won't do as well as I want to only because of the time writing. The reading section I believe I can handle. However, that's why we still have some time to practice.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty confident that I'll do well on the reading portion of the exam. On average I don't miss more than four on any given section. Sometimes the vocabulary trip me up, and it throws me off, so I need to brush up on that.
ReplyDeleteAs for the writing portion...I'm scared to be quite honest. I'm not too great at writing under pressure, let alone pull out an analysis in a limited amount of time.
As of right now, I think that I'll be able to do okay but not as well as I would want to because I personally don't know if I could manage under the pressure of being timed and write the essays. The reading section might be easier for me.
ReplyDeleteI don't think two blocks is enough to be able to take on that exam. I'm having thoughts on whether I should even take it. I need way more practice. Aside form that I don't think some exam should really define my understanding and appreciation of literature. I love literature and the beauty of it and I could have a conversation for hours on it but to sit down with strict time limits to write and answer multiple choice questions on it, I feel, just kind of ruins it.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll do fine on the reading section, and with a little more practice I think I can manage the writing section too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments guys, nice to know i'm not on the boat alone.
