  1. with this packet The Art of Selling was really interesting and had my attention the most because as it said this was meant to reflect during the 1930's but it's really scary to see how this also mirrors our society now especially in or generation, that we are mostly influenced by media; sadly technology manipulates our minds. Hopefully the story is amazing as i hope it is.. (:

  2. I would agree with Pamela. I found the article very interesting because I can compare it to modern day society and how us as an individual understand consequences of products but still allow advertising influence us into purchasing their items. Just like the cosmetics example we discussed earlier.

  3. I am also in agreement with Pamela. The chapter is very telling of our own generation, as well as this nation as a whole. I was shocked at how accurately the author described our worldly desires, as well as the shadiness of the government as they play on our emotions to achieve their agenda.

  4. I agree as well. The fact that a commentary from 80 years ago remains relevant is interesting on its own, not to mention how startlingly accurate it is. The arts of selling definitely haven't decreased in power since then, I suppose.

  5. I agree with all of you guys in that the story reflects the modern world today and is scary at times and interesting to see something that was written long before today be so accurate.
