Do you guys have any REALLY good examples for the usage of iambic pentameter? Also, could you guys sample some for me in the poems you wrote.

I wouldn't recommend you writing your poem in iambic pentameter because that is just adding more stress on you. It mostly focuses on syllables. This is what i got off of Google, hope it helps."a line of verse with five metrical feet, each consisting of one short (or unstressed) syllable followed by one long (or stressed) syllable, for example Two households, both alike in dignity"

ReplyDeleteFor our poems we did not have to include iambic pentameter, but if you wanted to know most of Romeo and Juliet is written in iambic pentameter
