Has anyone else really started on their independent reading project? I seem to be overwhelmed by all of the other projects I'm doing in other classes and keep forgetting to make time for it.
To be quite honest, I haven't really made much progress in my Independent Reading. Hopefully I'll have time to get a move on in the coming week after the exam. What books are you guyts doing?
My reading was a play so I finished it faster than a novel. I have gathered some secondary sources that can be useful, but that's it. My cover page is not even done. I'm hoping after the last essay in 106, the presentations will be my only other problem besides this essay.
I am on the same boat with you Anna. Juggling this in addition to another AP class has just been time consuming. Maybe if we talk to Mrs.Ross, we can maybe have it written off so that we can just focus on our projects. We have after all, written a book report for every block
To be completely honest, I haven't really started. I read The Glass Menagerie again, so i sped through pretty quick. I plan on doing the paper this weekend. I'm with you guys; Too many other assignments made priority over this one so now it's crunch time.
Honestly, i have not prepared for the literary analysis but its the last stretch can't give out now we do have a bit of projects relatively last second but i doubt college gets easier and that's the purpose of an ap class to prepare us for college and reduce our huge stroke that we'd have without this preparation down to a mild headache:)
I agree my mind lately has been kind of fried due to all these AP tests and I think even with that my independent reading assignment I am trying to put in time but I never have enough to finish it all in one go.
I'm having the exact same issue. We have so many other assignments to do that the independent reading keeps winding up at the bottom of my to-do list.
