Do any of you guys plan on taking the ACT or SAT this summer? Seniors do you guys have any suggestions to those of us who want to do better? Anything that helped or didnt help you?
Regarding the SAT, I know it may seem easy to just blow it off, knowing that you have plenty of time to make it up... but honestly it's just so much easier to take it seriously the first time. Study and take the time to practice Math problems you know you struggle with. (These questions can be killer if you're not prepared).
Overall, don't stress, and if you're not happy with the scores you got, the test truly is easier your second time around as you're familiar with the format. But I'm pretty sure that you'll do great, especially on the essay section as the AP practices really come in handy. Good luck guys!
I'm taking it this summer and will be my second time. And this time i plan on really studying and taking it more serious like Jessica said. Jessica's advice is right on point. Thanks Jessica :)
Thank you ladies because I am planning on taking it this summer and studied a little bit but not to probably the potential but I will take your advice and study hard for it

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've been getting in the mindset of studying. Don't procrastinate and good luck on your exam!
DeleteI'd like to take the SAT over the summer. I want to get it out of the way before senior year slams us with responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking the French, world history and U.S. History SAT subject test in June
ReplyDeleteI plan on taking the SATS in the fall and instead focusing on getting a job and college hunting in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI'll be a little busy over the summer with my job, but I hope to take the SAT and not have to be bombarded with so much work senior year.
