Sonnet 145
From the packet, I found Sonnet 145 to be my favorite. The playful yet adorable tone of the sonnet really called to me. It showed how Shakespeare's wife's words can have such an impact on him --as it is perhaps for anyone in love with their beloved. It shows how another's opinion can affect one just because of their significance. ""I hate" from hate away she threw./And saved my life, saying "not you."

ReplyDeleteI agree, certain people have an extra ordinary amount of influence over our lives and two words can really make a difference especially when a phrase goes from "I hate" to "not you"
ReplyDeleteIt's possible for a man to live without a women however i feel as if it's not the same. Men seek attention and love no less than women do, which relates to the wifes impact which is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Daisy! When i first read it, i trully did not understand it but once we started to explain it in clads all of it clicked together!
ReplyDeletePeople say sticks and stones may break your bones but words may never; but words do hurt with one word it can destroy your life.with one word it can say ypur life.
