Independent Reading

What influenced you guys to select the book you chose? I myself was influenced by Mrs.Ross as she gave the overall concept of the book and it sounded very captivating.

  2. I was influenced by my curiosity to read Lolita. Although the topic of the whole man and girl thing, pedophile to be exact, is highly uncomfortable, I felt it would be interesting to read about what the narrator has to say of all this and his perspective on the issue.

  4. I agree with Tommy, but, at the same time, I choose the book for it's almost crime-like sub genre and how the plot will turn out

  6. The book I choose was Crime and punishment, when I first saw the tittle I was just hooked by it. And when I read a part of a summery of the book, and I think it is interesting to read about a guy who have mental problem, and his thought about crime and punishment.
