If John Steinbeck were alive today, what group of people would he target and bring awareness to? I believe either the refugees and immigrants, but there has to be other groups.
I feel like he'd target racist groups of people that bash on immigrants for wishing a better life. I feel like he would target them, because not only he wants the best for immigrants, but also he tries to enforce, through the Grapes of Wrath, the theme of family within the entire world!
I agree with you and believe that Steinbeck would give his attention to minorities and try to impact others through his writing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sara. I think his main focus would be on immigrants and minority groups.

ReplyDeleteI believe Steinbeck is targeting immigrants because people don't give them as much respect as they should.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the people who need the most financial help.
ReplyDeleteHopefully someone in our generation addresses these issues in a novel that can hopefully have much as an impact as Grapes of Wrath did.
ReplyDeleteIf John Steinbeck are still living today, he will represent the immigrants or the Muslim community.
